2024 Minimum Wage Nz. Minimum wage with effect from april 1, 2024. Wage thresholds for the skilled migrant category, the green list straight to residence and work to residence visas, and the parent category residence class visa will increase in line with the median wage (nzd$31.61 an hour) on 28 february 2024.

The current minimum wage in new zealand is nz$23.15 per hour in 2024. The new minimum wage rate will be announced by the government closer to the date.
